Weed, cash & shrooms stolen, 3 men kidnapped

Friday afternoon 26 year old Miguel Recardo Samuels, Jr of Birmingham, 34 year old Courtney Ladreko Mason of Oxford, Georgia and 39 year old Anthony Larvell Maddox of Lithonia, Georgia were traveling down I-59 southbound near the I-20 interchange in Jefferson county Alabama when a vehicle fitting the description of the transportation used by George Floyd's murderers began to follow their vehicle. By the use of intimidation and force, the vehicle's driver ordered Samuels to stop his Nissan on the shoulder of a busy interstate.

The driver then approached the Nissan and by threat of violence ordered Samuels and his passengers to step out as he looted through the contents inside. 11 pounds of Cannabis in vacuum sealed packages were stolen from the vehicle and the three men were taken to the Jefferson County Internment Camp to be held without ransom.

The assailant was identified as a member of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department. After obtaining information from the POWs during interrogation, the gang collaborated with an affiliate gang known as the Vice and Narcotics Unit to aid in the continuation of this attack.

The home of one of the victims located on the 500 block of Elm Street in Birmingham was taken by force as the victims sat powerless. During the home invasion $3,400 in cash, just over 0.5 oz of Cannabis and 0.5 oz of Psilocybin mushrooms were stolen from the property.
