Jimmy "Zig" Sehorn: Meet the Team
Zig served as an infantryman in Iraq during Operation New Dawn. His mission was to conduct convoy escort operations and route clearance, where he drove the lead convoy vehicle. After returning home, he again deployed to the middle east in 2012 to train members of the Royal Army of Oman. Zig returned to the States to earn his B.A. in Psychology, then continued his commitment to public service through his years as an Oregon State Veteran Employment Representative assisting other veterans in obtaining meaningful employment. Zig also co-chaired the Oregon Military Support Network, an organization of veteran service providers committed to assisting veterans navigate the complex benefits of different veteran organizations.
With a desire to see the nation he sacrificed so much for, Zig eventually stepped away from public service to travel America. After hearing the stories of countless veterans nationwide and experiencing first hand the limits of the VA and it's inability to treat combat conditions with safe access to cannabis he realized that his service to his community couldn't stop after separating from the Army.
Armed with passion and understanding of what our veterans endure, his new mission in life is to end the prohibition on cannabis & natural medicine and to ensure that all of our nation's veterans have equal and safe access to the effective treatments nature can provide.
