Warrant issued over destruction of 100+ cannabis plants

Yes, you read that right. A warrant has been issued by authorities in Oklahoma after Joey and Julie Melton made a report of property destruction. Allegedly, Michael Anthony Miko, 34, of Kent, Washington came into their home and destroyed 129 of their cannabis plants by breaking them at the base and knocking them to the ground. The couple's loss has been valued at $16,900 and authorities are looking to bring the assailant in.

Miko has been charged with malicious destruction of property. If found guilty he faces a maximum of 2 years imprisonment and up to a $1,000 fine, a sentence not nearly as harsh as people in other states can face for just simple possession.
