$1m worth of DMT, LSD, shrooms and weed stolen in California home invasion

More than $1m of psilocybin mushrooms, cannabis, LSD and DMT were stolen this Thursday following a violent home invasion in Oildale, located just north of Bakersfield, California.

42 year old David Jackson along with his two children were taken by surprise when a gang of armed individuals all fitting the description of Breyona Taylor's murderers barged into their home. Once inside, the armed gang headed straight to Jackson's lab where 23 pounds of DMT, 3 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms, 10 pounds of Cannabis and an undisclosed amount of liquid LSD was stolen.

The assailants have been identified as members of the Kern County Sheriff's department. Jackson was taken to a local internment camp and his two children, ages 8 and 9 were sent to a state run Foster home.

The Kern County Sheriff's department valued their take at a total of $1,040,568. Jackson was charged with manufacturing a controlled substance and maintaining a residence for narcotics sales. Jackson was also charged with child endangerment although there is no evidence of him ever doing harm to his children.

Even after recent decriminalization legislation, California Health and Safety Code 11379.6 HS makes it a felony to manufacture or sell most drugs. If found guilty for manufacturing, individuals face up to 7 years in prison with longer sentences often given to those accused of manufacturing in the presence of children.
