A woman in Annadale VA was in a bind on the side of the road on Thanksgiving day and was in need of help getting around a crash on the interstate. 34-year-old Samantha Markos, of Temple Hills, Md. noticed police nearby and decided to ask for help, instead she was arrested on charged of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
The Richmond Dispatch Reports: "troopers were investigating a crash on Interstate 495 when one of them stopped Markos to keep her from driving into the crash scene. Police say the trooper saw marijuana inside Markos’ vehicle when she asked for directions to get around the crash.
Markos was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. It’s unclear whether she has an attorney."
