VA home invasion leads to theft of over 140 weed plants

On July 26th a group of armed men all fitting the description of George Floyd's murderers came to the residence if William "Billy" Buchanan of Washington county VA. By threat of violence the gang forced their way into the house looting through the contents inside.

The 143 cannabis plants growing in a backyard farm were stolen and Mr Buchanan was taken to a nearby internment camp.

The assailants have been identified as members of the Washington County Virginia Sheriff's office with assistance from members of the WCSO narcotics team.

The gang later released a post on social media admitting to spying on the residence by helicopter prior to the home invasion. The WCSO also explained in the post that they received a "tip" from another resident who claims to have stolen a single plant from Buchannan. That individual was never charged with a crime.
