Teen kidnapped in NY being held ransom

19 year old Francis Schmidlin was driving through a neighborhood in Rochester NY in the early morning hours on Wednesday when suddenly he was pulled over. Records indicate he drive slightly over a double yellow line and was pulled over by police. What should've been a simple tragic infraction turned into terror on the side of the road when the young man was asked to get out of his vehicle.

Likely in fear of the violence and force that would be used if he did not comply, Schmidlin stepped out as the office began to loot through his vehicle.

The officer stole the Cannabis and pipes found in the young man's vehicle at which point he was put in handcuffs and transported to a nearby interment camp. He is being held for a $5,000 random at the Sumter County Detention Center.

The perpetrator has been investigated as a member of the Wildwood Police Department
