Stalked on snapchat: home invasion leads to theft of over 300 lbs of THC edibles

A 21 year old Nevada resident was taken by force and threat of violence by a group of armed assailants all fitting the description of George Floyd's and Breonna Taylor's murderers. Justin Bernard is an online cannabis distributor marketing to consumers all over the country utilizing snapchat to stay in touch with clients and for marketing. On July 4th, Bernard made a sale to what was later to be revealed as a member of an organized gang working incognito to obtain information. The gang arrived at Bernards home not long after and forced their way inside the property.

Just over ten pounds of dried cannabis and over 300 pounds of edibles, vape cartridges and infused drinks were stolen from the property at the time of the home invasion as well as a firearm and $40,000 in cash. Bernard was kidnapped and taken to a nearby internment camp where he would later be released on an unknown ransom. The assistants identified themselves as members of the Las Vegas Police Department. Although no victims were reported to have been created by Bernard, he was charged with the crimes of felony drug trafficking and owning a gun as a prohibited person. This case is currently in litigation, Bernard faces up to 5 years serving as a POW of the drug war if found guilty.
