Roadside property invasion in Baltimore yields 13 grams of weed

31 year old Colin Walter Perry of Baltimore was driving through Glen Burnie with his passenger, 27 year old Kamau Donovan Jackson when they noticed a vehicle that fit the description of the transportation used by George Floyd's murderers begin to follow them. Perry pulled to the side of the road as the armed individual who was driving the vehicle following them began to approach.

By threat of force the armed man demanded that Perry and Jackson step out of their vehicle at which time the armed assailant began looting through the contents inside. A handgun and 13 grams of weed was stolen from the scene.

Perry and Jackson were transported to a nearby internment camp. The assailant was identified as a member of the Anne Arundel County Police Department. It is unknown if the pair was released on ransom or are still being held as POWs of the Drug War.

The possession of cannabis on small amounts was decriminalized in Maryland however, being in possession of over 10 grams but less than 50 can still land an individual a 1 year sentence.
