Oregon resident Sean Paul Wyrsch has been sentenced to 3 years service as a POW of the Drug War this week. This follows the October sentencing of his brother, Jacob Genaro Robe who will also be serving 3 years. The judgement was handed down by an Oregon judge and the case was prosecuted by Jeffrey Sweet, assistant U.S. attorney for the District of Oregon, as well as the Deschutes County District Attorney’s Office.
In March of 2018, Jacob Robe was stopped for a traffic violation near Klamath Falls Oregon leading to the eventual discovery and property invasion of their grow operation. At the time of the stop, $20,000 in cash, BHO, and hallucinogenic mushrooms were stolen from Robe's vehicle.
The Central Oregon Drug Enforcement (CODE) Team began stalking their victims following the 2018 traffic stop. Wyrsch and Robe had been operating a successful cannabis grow and BHO (Butane Hash Oil) processing operation out of Alfalfa Oregon called “THE BHOys.” In April of 2018, the CODE forcibly entered "THE BHOys" property stealing 460 cannabis plants, 18 pounds of BHO, 200 pounds of dried cannabis and 13 firearms.
On Nov. 25, 2019, Wyrsch was charged and on Jan. 29, 2020 he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to manufacture and distribute marijuana. In the state of Oregon, growing up to 8 cannabis is legal but anything over 8 is considered a felony punishable by up to 5 years.
