Ohio Man Facing 30+ Years Over Weed

A 33 year old Cleveland, Ohio man fell victim to roadside theft and kidnapping in Illinois this past Tuesday. 103 pounds of dried cannabis flower, cash and 3 handguns were stolen during the roadside invasion.



The victim, Henry Umpierre was traveling eastbound on interstate 80 in Morris when a vehicle matching the description of the transportation used by Breyonna Taylor’s murders began to follow him. As he pulled to the side of the road near mile marker 112, Umpierre witnessed the armed driver from the pursuing vehicle step out and begin to approach him.


By threat of force, the armed assailant began looting through the contents inside of Umpierre’s vehicle. 103 pounds of dried cannabis flower, $20,259 in cash and 3 handguns were stolen. The victim was taken to a nearby internment camp known to locals as the, Grundy County Jail. The assailant was identified as a member of the Illinois State Police. Umpierre is currently being held as a POW of the drug war with a ransom of $150,000.


Although the 33 year old created no victims and committed no acts of violence he is being charged with multiple crimes including attempting to manufacture and deliver more than 5,000 grams of marijuana, attempted cannabis trafficking, possession of more than 5,000 grams of marijuana. If found guilty by his accusers he faces up to 30 years serving as a POW of the drug war.
