A group of armed men all wearing matching uniforms went to a residence on Morgan Road outside of High Point looking to locate a woman, Megan Marler on Friday.
Miss Marler did not seem to be home nor was anyone else present at the residence when the group forced entry and began to loot the premises. Inside they located and stole one single cannabis plant that was located in the home.
Not long after the looting began, Robert Newman, 37 came home to find the gang in the act. Eventually, Miss Marler and her 4 year old son who were apparently hiding in the home at the time of the break in emerged.
They forced Mr Newman by threat of violence into the back of a vehicle and took him to a nearby internment camp.
The assailants have been identified as members of the Moniteau County Sheriff's Department.
