MD officials call for manhunt of poison victims

In an article published July 10th by WJLA, an ABC affiliate, it was reported that a Maryland police department is asking the public to partcipate in a full scale man hunt for anyone who was poisioned by a bad batch of PCP going around the area.

The report stated that Anne Arundel County Police are asking that anyone wittnessing members of the community "exhibiting aggressive and delusional behavior" or "people acting strangely" to call the department so that they can detain the individuals.

On July 7th a citizen was apprehended with a small amount of PCP in their posession. Instead of being taken to a medical facility for treatment they were thrown in a concrete cell to experience the dangerous symptoms of withdraw without proper resource or medical attention.

Police excecuted a search warrant likely based off the information of the victims detained. Reports indicate they uncovered "just under 300 grams of suspected drugs (pending lab tests) and more than $10,000 in cash." from the PCP maunfactures suspected to be distributing this dangerous batch to the community.

Even though the neglegent PCP manufacturers were apprehended, police are still calling on the arrest of those who fell victim to it's distribution.

Platoon 420 DOES NOT condone the overuse of any substances but recognizes that with a legal market and safe access to these substances, instsances such as this would not occur and in the event they did, buyers would have protections against the manufacturer without fear of prosecution or imprisonment.

WJLA called for "Anyone who observes individuals behaving strangely or exhibiting unusual behavior, such as public nudity or other odd or irrational behaviors, is asked to call 911 immediately and report it. A person under the influence of PCP may exhibit any or all of the following symptoms:

  • Blank stare

  • Rapid, involuntary eye movements, typically side to side

  • Changes to stride or gait

  • Drooling

  • Loss of balance

  • Catatonic trance

  • Twitches, shudders, or random, uncontrolled movements

  • Physical exertion without perception of pain or muscle strain

  • Sweating or flushing due to increased body temperature'"

All symptoms of someone requiring careful medical attention and rehabilitation they can not recieve in the internment camps they end up in.

In the state of Maryland, anyone found to be in poession of PCP, a schedule II drug is subject to up to a 4 year sentence as a drug war POW. However, the manufactures if found to be guilty will face up to 20 years for trafficking but not be held accountable for the neglegence in manufacturing that may have caused the deaths of non-violent citizens.
