"Anne Arundel police say they arrested an Ellicott City man late Monday after discovering more than five ounces of marijuana and $1,200 in his car.

Officers arrested 28-year-old James Edward Simms around 10 p.m. Monday after seeing a hand-to-hand drug deal near Meade Village Road and Meade Village Circle, Marc Limansky, Anne Arundel police spokesman said."
