31 year old cannabis farmer Justin Jun Shen of Lake Elsinore CA attempted to flee the scene of an armed robbery which occurred at his residence on Desert Rose Drive Thursday afternoon. A group of armed assailants all wearing matching uniforms and badges looted through his home and destroyed his crop of 1,500 cannabis plants.
Shen attempted to escape the violent group of men but was taken hostage at gunpoint in a nearby field not long after running.
The perpetrators have been identified as members of The Riverside Counter Sheriff's department. The assailants claim that they were told there "were possible marijuana remnants found in a dirt field near according the home" to Riverside County Sheriff’s Sgt.Glenn Warrington.
Shen was taken to the Cois M. Byrd internmenint camp in French Valley CA. He is being held on a $5,000 ransom that so far no one has been able to produce for his release.
