Tuesday morning men in matching uniforms sporting tactical gear came to the hotel room of Adam Castro at The Hyatt Place in Fort Myers FL where he, his girlfriend and daughter were staying. When he came to answer the door the men forced themselves into his room with threats of violence if they did not comply.
He and his family were taken to a vehicle parked outside the hotel as the group began to looting through his room without any interference from the hotel staff. This violent street gang stole the 11 pounds of Cannabis, 140 packages of cannabis edibles, 33g of over wax, $7,000 in cash and all of Castro's electronics.
The three were taken to a nearby internment camp. The girlfriend and child were released but Castro's is still being held without ransom. Reports indicate he may be transported to a Colorado internment camp to stand before the group who robbed him in Colorado in the past.
The assailants have been identified as members of the Fort Meyers Police Department.
