House Raided Over 8oz of Weed

Three people have been arrested after detectives from multiple agencies were sent to raid a home in MA in order to recover the less than $1,000 worth of cannabis inside. Officers seized 8 oz of cannabis along with the $4,500 worth of cash and sandwich baggies from the residence after entering it by force.

24-year-old Turon Andrade, 29-year-old Kevin Galvao, and 19-year-old Shaly Almeida who were present at the time of the police break in were charged with conspiracy to violate drug laws and possession of a Class D drug with intention to distribute. Possession with intent to distribute (less than 50 lbs) holds a maximum penalty of 2 years incarceration in MA.
