Home Invasion in RI

Police from multiple departments invaded the home of Sydney Goodson Friday morning in RI. He was abducted by threat of force and charged with the manufacturing possession/delivery of drugs as well as possession of mariiuana.

The Providence Journal Reports: "PORTSMOUTH — A 49-year-old man faces drug charges after police executed a search warrant at his East Main Road home on Friday morning.

Sidney Goodson of 3338 East Main Road was arraigned in Newport District Court on charges of manufacturing/possession/delivery for Schedule I and II drugs, as well as possession of marijuana. Members of the Portsmouth Police Department Detective Division, joined by members of the Newport Police Department Narcotics Division, executed the warrant at Goodson's home, where they found cocaine and marijuana.

According a Portsmouth police press release, the execution of the search warrant stemmed from a joint investigation into illicit drug sales."
