High speed chase leads to abduction of 2 teens

Zion Micah Bowens, 19, of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Trevel Semaj Wade, 18, of Aberdeen, were driving through Southern Pines NC in this Saturday when a vehicle with flashing lights began to persue their vehicle.

While stopped at an intersection the men chasing them approached the vehicle and detained the two young men in handcuffs as they looted the vehicle. The men stole the Cannabis and THC wax found in the vehicle and took the two boys to a nearby interment camp. They were each released on a $10,000 ransom.

The perpetrators have been identified as members of the The Southern Pines Police Department who has announced they will be "working with the Federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) conducting an additional investigation involving the recovered firearm and additional charges may follow upon the conclusion of this investigation,” according to a statement released by the violent street gang.
