Fireworks Complaint on NYE Leads to Abduction of 17 year old

It's not uncommon for Americans to celebrate the close of a year by lighting off fireworks. This ended tragically for one Florida teen when Lee County Police received a complaint about the noise of fireworks... or gunfire according to accounts in the police report. Police were able to obtain a search warrant based on the complaint and entered the home on the 5500 block of First Avenue in Pine Manor.

Inside they found less than 50g of cannabis and a digital scale along with cash and firearms. Also inside was 17-year-old Cesar Alexis Reyes Juarez who was taken into custody. Juarez, already a victim of tyrannical regulation was on probation for a prior "offence" of being in possession of a firearm as a minor with no reports of said fire arm being used.

He was charged with four counts of possessing a weapon or ammo as a Florida Delinquent; and single counts of firing a weapon in public or on residential property; possessing a controlled substance-more than 20 grams of marijuana; and violating probation.

Sheriff Carmine Marceno said about the arrest, “This was great work by our West District deputies and detectives. Despite the increased demands created by New Year’s Eve, we responded quickly and seized firearms from an adjudicated delinquent.” a move some would also categorize as the abduction of a child.
