Election day takedown: 30 citizens taken as Drug War POWs in Alabama, more victims to come

30 individuals in Alabama have been taken hostage and are being held as Drug War POWs following weeks of being stalked by multiple well organized gangs scattered throughout the state working in collaboration with each other.




Teams were divided up and spread out all across Walker County. The Walker County Sheriff’s Office Patrol, Corrections, Reserve, Communications, K-9, Investigations, and Narcotics Divisions participated, along with the Jasper Police Department, Dora Police Department, Oakman Police Department, and the Alabama Department of Corrections K-9 Tracking Unit.


Hundreds of hours of work by the Narcotics Division led up to the successful operation.


Those arrested are as follows:


• Bobby Joe Wiley, 54, of Argo Hill: distribution of a controlled substance.


• Gary Christopher Conner, 57, of Argo Hill: unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.


• Cynthia Garrett, 49, of Oakman: possession of drug paraphernalia.


• Lucas Edward Howard, 30 of Jasper: failure to appear on probation revocation.


• Shelly Renee Manasco Madison, 46, of Jasper: two counts of distribution of a controlled substance.


• John Woodrow Murray, 56, of Jasper: two counts of distribution of a controlled substance.


• David Wayne Kirkley, 57, of Jasper: two counts of distribution of a controlled substance.


• Dewayne Dewayne Bullocks, 42 of Cordova: Domestic Violence Act-harassing communications.


• Coleman Lee Roberson, 26, of Jasper: possession of drug paraphernalia. Roberson was also wanted by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.


• Spencer Evan Warden, 20, of Jasper: possession of drug paraphernalia. Warden was also wanted by the Blount County Sheriff’s Office.


• Sidney Allan Mann, 55, of Jasper: warrant with the Jasper Police Department.


• Sandra Lynn Hambric, 68, of Jasper: possession of marijuana 2nd and possession of drug paraphernalia.


Sandra Gilliland, 44 of Jasper: three counts of distribution of a controlled substance.


• Donald Ray Davis, 62, of Saragossa: possession of marijuana 2nd and possession of drug paraphernalia.


• Raymond Stacy Richards, 48, of Boldo: possession of drug paraphernalia.


• Benjamin Wayne Allen Jr., 39, of Boldo: distribution of a controlled substance.


• Terry Royster, 56, of Jasper: unlawful possession of a controlled substance and promoting prison contraband 2nd.


• Johnny Eugene Taylor Cato Jr., 38, of Jasper: possession of drug paraphernalia.


• Jesse Kratz, 39, of Double Springs: two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.


• James Ray Brown, 47, of Jasper: unlawful Possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.


• Johnny Franklin, warrant with the Jasper Police Department.


• Nathaniel Vincent Cruz Mathis, 27, of Sipsey: attempting to Elude and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Mathis was also wanted by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Adamsville Police Department, Brookside Police Department, and other agencies.


• Bradley Rushing, warrant with the Winston County Sheriff’s Office.


• Mark Jason Little, 39, of Empire: warrant with the Jasper Police Department.


• Jackie Dutton of Empire: warrant with the Dora Police Department.


• Victor Chad Wright, 41, of Empire: unlawful possession of a controlled Substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.


• Tanjanika Lea Williams, 38, of Empire: unlawful possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.


• Michael Kevin Davidson: warrant with the Cordova Police Department.


• Steve Allen Sarr, 54, of Empire: illegal possession of prescription medication and possession of drug paraphernalia.


Another wanted individual had to be released due to a medical condition.
