NICK CHRESTENSON reports from NewstalkKGVO
"The Missoula Police Department made two separate drug arrests recently. One occurred late Tuesday night and the other took place early Wednesday morning. At around 11:00 p.m. Tuesday, an officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Whippoorwill Drive and Highway 10 West. Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh explains.
“The officer recognized the driver of this vehicle as somebody who had outstanding warrants,” Welsh said. “The officer confirmed those warrants and also that the male was driving without a valid drivers license. In fact, it had been suspended. The officer made contact with the driver, confirmed his identification, and placed him under arrest. He also observed what he described as drug paraphernalia and drugs in the vehicle.”
The man was identified as 58-year-old Kevin Dowell."
