Driver Narcs on Passenger During Traffic Stop

Five ounces of cannabis and a human being have been abducted by police following a routine traffic stop in Illinois. On December 1st, a vehicle was stopped in Bethalto, IL for failure to display a front license plate. Officers found just over an ounce of cannabis in the vehicle and arrested the driver at the scene. When she was taken into custody she told officers that her passenger, 19 year old Jacob Werner was the man who sold her the cannabis.


After receiving the information, officers obtained a search warrant and invaded Werner's home. Inside they found just under 6 ounces of cannabis and $986 in cash. The cannabis & cash were confiscated by police and the young man was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and forgery.
