On July 7th, 25 year old Cornelius Jones Jr. of Newark receieved an unwelcome visit at hi hoe on Donna Street by a group of men all in matching uniforms and sporting tactical gear. By threat of violence the gang orered Jones out of his home as they forced their way inside.
Once inside the men began to loot the property. The group stole the 2.5 pounds of cannabis, numerous THC edables, perscrition pills and a firearm that belonged to Jones. He was transported to the Newark Internment camp refered to by the gang as the "Newark Police Headquarters" and was released on a $233,400 cash ransom. The assailants have been identified as members of the Newark Police Department
The home invasion stemmed from an anonymous complaint made in May 2020 about "dug activity" taking place at the residence. Jones's captors stalked him undetected for 2 months before infultrating his home.
He is scheduled to appear in front of his accusers at a later date. If convicted of the alleged crimes he was charged with he faces up to 8 years imprisonment as a POW of the Drug War.
