Caught Orange Fingered: Man Arrested with Cheeba Cheetos

"SAN ANTONIO — A traffic stop led officers to more than 110 grams of marijuana, hidden in a Cheetos bag, according to an affidavit.

Police say it started when they pulled over Carmelo Deleon, 33, on N. Zarzamora St., Jan. 6, when he allegedly ran a red light. During the traffic stop, one SAPD officer said he noticed the smell of marijuana, so asked Deleon if he had any in the car. Court records say Deleon admitted to having marijuana and said it was in a Cheetos bag, which was in the passenger seat, where he was sitting. The officer said he looked in the bag and found a clear plastic bag with the alleged marijuana. After weighing it, officers said they found there was 114.8 grams in the bag."
