Local Baton Rouge rapper, Percy Keith Stewart and his girlfriend Kaylee Wilson were startled when men in matching uniforms wearing badges and tactical gear forcibly entered his home at the 1700 block of South Brightside View Drive on Wednesday evening. It was around 10:00pm in the otherwise peaceful neighborhood, most of the block likely in their beds asleep when the chaos ensued.
Once inside the badged assailants ordered the couple to be put in cuffs so they could be detained while the home invasion took place. As the group looted the house they took inventory and possession of the 40 pounds of cannabis, 800 cannabis vape cartridges, MDMA and prescription pills that were present in the couples home along with $14,000 in cash. They were then taken into custody by threat of violence.
The assailants have been identified as members of The Baton Rouge Police Department. The couple was taken to the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and are awaiting their chance to appear in front of the judge to discuss the allegations made against them including:
Distribution of marijuana
Possession with the intent to distribute marijuana
Possession with the intent to distribute MDMA
Possession with the intent to distribute amphetamine salts
Possession with the intent to distribute hydrocodone
Possession with the intent to distribute alprazolam
Possession of a firearm with controlled dangerous substances
Felon in possession of a firearm
Possession of drug paraphernalia
