Arkansas home invasion leads to theft of over 8 pounds of pot

The home of Eric Moore, 27, and Shelby Layne Stokes, 25, of Jonesboro Arkansas was invaded on October 8th by a gang of armed assailants in matching uniforms. Once inside, the gang stole 6 pounds of Cannabis located inside the home as well as a digital scale, cannabis residue, empty vacuum seal bags, 7 Hydrocodone pills, 3 pistols, a rifle, $5,142 in cash and a Mason jar with 36 grams of cannabis inside a kitchen cabinet.



Moore and Stokes were kidnapped and transported to a nearby internment camp. Ransoms were issued for the pairs release at the amount of $350,000 for Moore and $150,000 for Stokes.



The assailants have been identified as members of the Jonesboro Police. According to an article published by KIAT8, the gang claims to have "smelled marijuana coming from inside the house" allegedly from the street.


It is unknown if the pair was able to pay the ransom for release. Both have been charged with multiple crimes and if found guilty face up to 10 years serving as POW's of the Drug War.
