$4.5 mil of Weed Seized at Traffic Stop

Council Bluffs police say officers seized $4.5 million worth of marijuana in an I-80 traffic stop on New Year's Day. KETV reports officers pulled over Dmitry Borisov near mile marker 7.5 on eastbound I-80 for speeding.

Police said a service dog found the marijuana while Borisov was pulled over. Officers said Borisov was driving a 2016 Penske truck full of 61 cardboard boxes packed with pot that weighed around 1,500 pounds. Police said Borisov is from Los Angeles.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to deliver, among other drug charges.
