391 pot plants destroyed in two separate California property invasions

A group of armed individuals all fitting the description of Breyona Taylor's murderers descended on 2 cannabis farms in Calaveras County, California in late August. After entering the properties by force, the gang began looting through and destroying the Cannabis plants on site while stealing other valuables including the harvested cannabis flower present at the time.

In total, 391 cannabis plants, several ounces of processed cannabis, three firearms, an ATV and less than a gram of methamphetamine were stolen from the scenes of the two farms. One farm was located at the 600 block of Smitty Lane in West Point and the other in the 4900 block of Buckboard Lane in Campo Seco.

No residents were reported as being on site at the time of the property invasions however, 39 year old David Lee Foster was kidnapped and taken to a local internment camp. Reports do not indicate which of the two farms Foster was the owner of or the events around his kidnapping. He was issued a citation and released without ransom.

The assistants have been identified as members of the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office. The gang later made a post on social media valuing the plants they destroyed at $273,000 and asking the community to alert them to any more cannabis farmers in the area they may be able to rob by calling (209)754-6870.
