26 arrested at Dead & Co. Fall Fun Run

Nassau County police descended on the annual Dead & Co. Fall Fun run this week in NY and arrest 26 people over a 48 hour period including 3 homeless men who were charged with felony drug violations.


The annual Dead & Co. Fall Fun run, an otherwise peaceful yearly event was disrupted by increased police activity this week. Officers patrolling Nassau Coliseum cracked down on nonviolent concert attendees making 26 arrests over a 2 day period and charging 10 individuals with felony charges.


Charges included possession and sale of ecstasy, psilocybin mushrooms, Diazepam, and LSD and use of nitrous oxide. Only 3 of the 26 individuals arrested needed minor medical attention. All 26 people were arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead, NY.


As Patch reports, the following 10 people received felony charges and their lives have forever been changed just because of what they decided to peacefully put in their bodies that night.


  • Clemens Mackay, 40, of Cobleskill, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for allegedly being in possession of multiple ecstasy pills.

  • Douglas Bueno, 45, of Englewood, New Jersey, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for allegedly selling psilocybin mushrooms.

  • Thomas Daisy, 47, and Jodi Carlson, 49, of Batavia, Illinois, were charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for allegedly being in possession of multiple Diazepam pills.

  • Joshua Bonilla, 22, of Uniondale, Christopher Slade, 40, a homeless man, and Jason Jarmacz, 37, also homeless, were all charged with second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance for allegedly being in the possession of and selling LSD.

  • Todd Hinden, 54 of Maspeth, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for allegedly being in possession of LSD.

  • Jami Marino, 41 of Pompton Plains, New Jersey, and Michael Bary, 39, of Livingston, New Jersey, were both charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for allegedly being in possession of psilocybin mushrooms.
