22 Year Old CA Man Charged with Felony After Routine Traffic Stop

Police in Sonora CA arrested 22 year old Thomas Turner after a routine traffic stop. The young man was pulled over and approached by police and admitted to having cannabis in his vehicle. The limit of legal cannabis possession in California is 28.5 grams, police reports indicate he had 80 grams on his person resulting in a charge of transportation of a controlled substance

Police also confiscated 11 grams of psilocybin mushrooms which are illegal to posses in California. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute for the mushroom possession.
