A tractor trailer being driven by 25-year-old Arthur Ziretsyan of Van Nuys, California was stopped for a safety can inspection at the Gallup, NM point of entry on November 19th. After a quick inspection of the trailer, a New Mexico State Police officer demanded by threat of force that Ziretsyan step out of his vehicle.

The trailer was hauling various cargo including 6 boxes containing 204 pounds of Cannabis. The Cannabis was taken from the scene and Ziretsyan was transported to a nearby internment camp known to locals as the Gallup-McKinley County Detention Center.

Ziretsyan did not create any victims according to police reports but is being charged with the crime of felony charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of over 8 ounces of marijuana. If found guilty, he faces up to 3 years service as a POW of the Drug War.
