15 cannabis farmers kidnapped in California home invasion

A property invasion Wednesday night in Perris california ended in the theft of 1,340 cannabis plants, 247 pounds of dried cannabis flower, $8,000 in cash and six farms.


The farm, located in the 1500 block of W. San Jacinto Avenue employed about 15 individuals all of which were taken to a nearby Internment Camp known to locals as the Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta. The names of the victims are as follows:


  • Bryan Santoyo, 19, of Perris

  • Jose Antonio Ochoa, 40, of Perris

  • Julio Cesar Ochoa, 36, of Perris

  • Carlos Rene Ochoa, 36, of Perris

  • Jesus Esteban Lopez, 42, of Perris

  • Carlos Humberto Lopez, 45, of Perris

  • Abraham Diaz Lopez, 32, of Perris

  • Francisco Avalos, 33, of Perris

  • Roman Cervantes Zavala, 34, of Perris

  • Pedro Ines Morfin, 28, of Perris

  • Alvaro Armas Villa, 29, of Perris

  • Lauro Ivan Villa, 24, of Perris

  • Omar Geovany Villa, 30, of Perris

  • Jose Carmen Aleman Molina, 20, of Milpitas

  • Jacinto Molina Garcia, 24, of Milpitas


The assailants were identified as members of the Riverside County Sheriff's department. In an article published by Patch, the week organized gang admits to having stalked their victims since as early as October 5th. It is unknown if any of the individuals were released on ransom or if they are still being held as POWs of the Drug War.
