12,000 Pot Plants And $1m cash seized in series of violent CA home invasions

A gang of armed assailants all fitting the description of Breonna Taylor's murders committed a series of home invasions in the area of South Modesto California. 16 homes were invaded by force and 31 individuals were kidnapped and taken to various local internment camps.



Just under $1 million in cash was stolen in total from the victims. Over 12,000 cannabis plants were destroyed as well as processing and harvesting equipment.


The assailants have been identified as members of the Modesto Police Department in collaboration with the Merced County Sheriff’s Department, Stanislaus County Special Investigations Unit and California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
