A traffic stop along interstate I-80 in Nebraska ended in the theft of 1,745 pounds of Cannabis and the kidnapping of two individuals this past Monday.
Robert Demmery of Belmont, North Carolina was driving his white cargo van with his passenger, Toby Mitchell of Gastonia when a vehicle that fit the description of the transportation used by George Floyd's murderers began pursuing them. Demmery pulled to the side of the road as the armed driver of the vehicle following him stepped out and began to approach them.
By threat of force, the armed assailant demanded that Demmery & Mitchell step out of their vehicle. With the help of a trained dog, the man began to loot through the contents inside of the vehicle. Demmery & Mitchell were then transported to a nearby internment camp.
The assailant was later identified as a member of the Dawson County sheriff's department working in collaboration with Nebraska State highway patrol. Demmery and Mitchell were both charged with possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug money. If found guilty they face up to 20 years service as POWs of the Drug War in Nebraska.
